Jim Stephenson, age 72 of Bethpage, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
Mr. Stephenson was born August 24, 1952, in Nashville to the late Dr. Walter Henning Stephenson and Walter Mai Bell Stephenson.
He is survived by wife of 50 years and his high school sweetheart, Debbie Kirkham Stephenson of Bethpage; children, Amanda Todd (Chris) of Hartsville, Sam Stephenson (Dana) of Bethpage, and Eli Stephenson (Jennifer) of Bethpage; brother, Steve Stephenson (Manon) of Nashville; sister, Hollie Stephenson of Gallatin; grandchildren, Baxter Stephenson, Bristol Stephenson, Lorelai “Peaches” Stephenson, Brody Troutt, Benson Troutt, and Taylor Todd; nephew, Walter Spears (Brooke); and great niece, Nora Mai Spears.
Jim and Debbie started the family farm 50 years ago. They, along with their children, raised cattle, tobacco, and various crops. They were always happy and proud of what they did together. The homestead was a place the children knew they could always come home to.
Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 12th at Stephenson Cemetery, 1498 Homer Scott Road, Bethpage, TN 37022, with Bro. Jimmy Crabtree officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11th from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.
