Mrs. Jewell “Judy” Hunter of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, she was 77 years old.
Mrs. Hunter was born December 10, 1944 in Westmoreland to the late Harry Carter and Carlean Coley Carter.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Jeanette Robinson and Jo Ann Brown.
She is survived by husband of 49 years, Grover “Buddy” Hunter of Gallatin; sons, Roy Hunter (Rachel) of Gallatin and Jeff D. Hunter of Portland; daughter, Josie Angel Thomas (Hunter) of Gallatin; brothers, Jerry Carter of Westmoreland and Thomas Carter of Westmoreland; sisters, Darlean McDougal (Steve) of South Tunnel, Dorothy Mayhew of Bethpage, Nancy Green of Gallatin, Linda Creasy (Danny) of Westmoreland, and Mary Sue Morris (Richard) of Westmoreland; 5 grandchildren, Bailey Hunter, Hunter Thomas West, Annabelle Hunter, Boyer Hunter (Kyla), and Colt Hunter (Ashley); and 3 great-grandchildren, Sophia Hunter, Khloe Hunter, and Presley Hunter.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 27th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 478 Craighead Street #200, Nashville, TN 37204.
