Jesse Daniel Taber, age 88 of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 11, 2026 at his home. He was born June 2, 1938 in Deer Lodge, Montana to Vernun & Kern Taber. He was a home builder before his retirement. He enjoyed snow skiing, playing golf and hiking. He loved people and enjoyed sharing his faith with others as he grew in his own spiritual journey. He attended Long Hollow Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Kevin Taber; 2 brothers, David and Denny; 2 sisters, Joan and Delores.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lisa Taber, Hendersonville, TN; sons, Chris (Crystal Cox, Denver, CO) and Jason (Melody) Taber, Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Heidi Taber, White House, TN; sister, Verna (Dick) Graham, AZ; 9 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on July 15, 2026, at 2 PM at Long Hollow Baptist Church, Hendersonville, TN. The family will receive friends on July 14, 2026 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the church.
