Jerry F. Landers, age 60 of Gallatin passed away on January 9, 2022.
Jerry was born on March 30, 1961 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Bedford Franklin Landers and the late Linda Faye King Landers.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Landers; his children, Katie Landers, Joshua Landers, Laurie Landers, and Jenna Landers; his grandson and best friend, Noah Lauderback; sister, Dawn Price (Philip); nieces, Brittany Humbert (Brandon) and Bethany Ellis (Chris); and his Gallatin Lady Wave Basketball Family.
A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., January 15, 2022 at First Baptist Church Hendersonville. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
Jerry had a passion for people, teaching, and coaching. He was a family man who loved game nights but hated to lose. He was known for his quick wit, friendly banter, and wise advice. Jerry was an active member at First Baptist Hendersonville where he taught numerous Connection Groups. When he was not in school or coaching, he was cheering on his bestest buddy on the court/field and volunteering to help in youth sports. He was loved and greatly missed by all.
