Mr. Jerry B. Tucker age 83, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Jerry was born on February 16, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Elton Tucker and Rosalee Weatherly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Nancy Tucker; daughters, Becky Bennett and Terri (Glenn) Walker; son, Jeff (Shannon) Tucker; grandchildren, Stacey (Nathan) Conner, Rob (Amy) Bennett, Kayla (Nat) Rogers, and Ryan (Savannah) Walker; great-grandchildren, Liam Conner, Arabella Bennett, Lennon Bennett, and Kasen Rogers; sister, Pamela Hopper.
Jerry lived a long full life filled with laughter, surrounded by his family until the end. He was a quiet man to most but to those who were privileged to be in his circle, he was a jokester. He had a big hearty laugh that would fill a room. He will be dearly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 28th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Les Chapman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville with Jeff Tucker, Rob Bennett, Glenn Walker, Ryan Walker, Nat Rogers, and Liam Conner serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, August 27th from 3:00-5:00 PM and Monday, August 28th from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.
