James ‘Jimbob’ Robert Trammel, age 53, of Portland, passed away on June 26th, 2026 at his residence in Portland. Mr. Trammel was born in Franklin, KY on September 9th, 1972 to the late Robert Edward Trammel Sr. and Diana Stinson Fuqua.
In addition to his father, Mr. Trammel is preceded in death by his wife, Patty Trammel.
Mr. Trammel is survived by his daughter, Haley Trammel and son, Noah (Savannah) Harrington; mother, Diana Fuqua; brothers, Robert Trammel, Joe Fuqua, & Eric Trammel; sisters, Leanne Fuqua, Sonny Trammel, & Sandy Trammel; mother-in-law, Glenda Phillips; sister-in-law, Penny (Chris) Gober; several nephews; companion, Cindy Summers.
Jimbob was a beloved husband, father, and friend. When he wasn’t driving a semi, Jim Bob could often be found grilling or in the kitchen. He had a gift for bringing people together over a good meal.
His outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor ensured that he never met a stranger and could brighten any room he entered.
Funeral service for Mr. Trammel will be at 12:00 on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating.
Visitation service for Mr. Trammel will be on Monday, June 29th, 2026 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm & on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment will be Searcy Cemetery.
