James “Eric” Carr, age 51 of Bethpage, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Mr. Carr was born on October 28, 1972 in Gallatin.
He is preceded in death by mother, Patricia Thompson Carr; sister, Tina Carr; and grandparents, James Allen “Peter Bob”, Anne Marie Thompson, A. W. “Joe Ben” Carr, and Gerald Carr; and grandfather-in-law, James Durham.
He is survived by wife of 33 years, Sandra Stubblefield Carr of Bethpage; son, Andrew Carr of Marion, IL; father, Jerry Carr of Bethpage; mother and father-in-law, Harry and Judith Stubblefield; grandmother-in-law, Jewel Durham, brother-in-law, Daniel Stubblefield (Mandy); nieces, Daniella Parrish, Grace Stubblefield, Emily Stubblefield; nephew, James Stubblefield; and great nephew Barry Parrish.
Mr. Carr was saved at an early age, on the carport. To know Eric was to love him. His smile and his laughter could brighten a room. He always had a joke ready for anything. He was a loving son, a doting husband and a wonderful father.
Graveside Service will be Sunday, October 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Bradley Cemetery, with Bro. Michael Robertson officiating and Daniel Stubblefield, Harry Stubblefield, Anthony Brizendine, Marty Carr, Adam Parrish, and Jeff Leath serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 27th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin.
