Jake Evins Gwin, age 81, of Portland, TN, passed away on June 8th, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Mr. Gwin was born on March 6th, 1944 in Hartsville, TN to the late James & Elsie Gwin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gwin is preceded in death by his son, Jack Nathaniel Wright.
Mr. Gwin is survived by his wife, Doris J. Gwin, brother-in-law, Leslie (Tisa) Stubblefield of Portland; mother-in-law, Barbara Stubblefield of White House; sister-in-law, Teresa (Todd) Lee of Newnan, GA.; nephews, Brandon Taylor, Grayson Stubblefield, & Garrett Stubblefield.
There will be a memorial service for Mr. Gwin at 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Gwin will be on Saturday, June 14th, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
