Mr. Jack D. Scott of Bethpage, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, he was 67 years old.
He was born January 7, 1955 in Gallatin, TN.
Jack is preceded in death by father, Clarence Haynes Scott; mother, Mary Jane Scott; brothers, Robert Haynes Scott and William Dunn Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Vickie Lynn Scott; children, Clayton (Janan) Anderson, Tina Blair, Jack Scott, Jr., Joshua Scott, Jenny (Chad) Oldham and Jake Scott; sister, Mary Virginia (Bobby) Carmouche; grandchildren, Justin Gammon, Bethany Whittington, Savannah Gammon, Nick Anderson, Katie Gammon, Ashton Scott, Hunter Scott, Jaxon Scott, Weston Scott, Isabel Scott, Cole Oldham, Lily Anderson and Jack Scott III; numerous great-grandchildren.
Jack was raised on a Century farm where the primary focus was tobacco, sheep, and cattle. While everyone who knew Jack would be quick to point out how hard of a worker he was, they also knew him as a loving husband, father, and loyal friend.
Funeral Service will be at 12:00 noon on November 5th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Brother Jerry Peace officiating. Interment will follow in Gallatin Cemetery with Chad Oldham, David Sullins, Daniel Jones, Jimmy Dale Gregory, Darrell White and Jimmy Love serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday, November 4th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 5th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
