Hubert Allen Jones, age 76, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at home with Avalon Hospice.
He was born on June 14, 1946, in Portland, Tennessee, to the late Anne Link and Hubert Jones.
He served his country during the Vietnam War in Southern Korea as an M.P. He worked as a District Manager with Village MKs and sold tires with several companies. After he retired he transported cars for several years.
Allen is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margaret Garrison Jones; a daughter and granddaughter he claimed as his own, Kim Colvard and her daughter, Emily Colvard, both of Hermitage; a very loving dog, Frank; siblings, Joyce Wilkerson, Randy Jones, both of Cross Plains, Tennessee; and a nephew and niece.
A private graveside service will be held at Allen’s family cemetery, Jake Link Cemetery, at a later date, with his uncle, Melvin Link, to officiate.
