Mrs. Hellen Louise Hawkins Scruggs, age 87, of Westmoreland, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Sumner Regional in Gallatin. Funeral services for Mrs. Scruggs are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 11 AM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Pete Freeman, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in The Oakdale Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 10 AM until 9 PM, and on Wednesday, from 8 AM until service time at 11 AM.
She is preceded in death by her dear Husband, Hollis Ray Scruggs; Parents, Richard and Eula Hawkins; Brothers, Douglas, Edwin, and Gilliam Hawkins; Sister, Era Mae Lyles; grandchildren, Kayla Kepley and Kelby Wix; and Great-Great-Granddaughters, Tillie Jo and Ensley Coleen Clark.
