Mr. Guthrie Dean Lyles of Bethpage, Tennessee passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, he was 95 years old.
He was born in Sumner County, Tennessee on November 12, 1926 to Oscar Reader and Maggie Lyles.
Guthrie was a member of the Gallatin Masonic Lodge for 50 years and was retired as an industrial mechanic from Armstrong Rubber Company after 40 years of service.
Guthrie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 75 years, Marion Lyles; sons and their wives, Buster Allen (Barbara) Lyles and Roger (Carma) Lyles; grandsons, David Lyles and Kerry Lyles; great-granddaughter, Marly Eskew; great-grandsons, Conner Lyles and Oliver Lyles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Maggie Lyles; granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Lyles Eskew; and his siblings, Eugene Lyles, Frances Burris, Carlean Lyles, Harold Lyles, and Maxine Trammel.
The service for Mr. Guthrie Lyles will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 AM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Treadway officiating. Interment will follow in Eulia Cemetery.
