Mr. Glynn Davis Young aka “Silver Fox,” age 78 of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at NHC Place Sumner.
Mr. Young was born on June 20, 1943 in Smithville, Tennessee to the late Charles and Evelyn Davis Young.
Mr. Young is survived by his daughter, Nikki (Johnny) Knight; brother, Gene Austin (Betty) Young; grandchildren, Eric (Megan) Knight, Kaley (Clint) Mangrum, Chad (Danyell) Knight; great-grandchildren, Allie, Emma, Emberlyn, Everly, Jaryn, and Chalee.
Along with his parents, Glynn was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Stephen Young and sister, Judy Young Rich.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 21st at 12 PM from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville with Bro. Randy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Griffith Cemetery on Young’s Farm in Smithville, Tennessee with Johnny Knight, Eric Knight, Clint Mangrum, Mason Young, Bret Bouldin, and Carl Hancock serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Chappel, Ron Marcou, Gary Gill, Gordon Gill, Gray Gill, Jim Adams, Ronnie Marks, Kenneth Turner, and L.G. Green. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, March 20th from 1:00-5:00 PM and Monday, March 21st from 10:00 AM until time of service.
