Glenda Briley, age 77 of Castalian Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Mrs. Briley was born March 31, 1947, to the late Gordon Glasgow Wilburn and Laura Alice Gregory Wilburn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Laurine Moore and Jo Woodall.
She is survived by husband of 56 years, Ronald W. “Ronnie” Briley of Castalian Springs; daughter, Jennifer Briley of Gallatin; siblings, Sue Brown, Faye Saunders, Wanda Kirkham, and Jim Wilburn; and several cherished nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1875 E. A. B. Wade Road, Portland, TN 37148, with Elder Brad Carver and Elder Britt Little officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 15th from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, 100 E. Albert Gallatin Avenue, Gallatin, TN 37066, and Tuesday, July 16th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with Russ Wright, Will Saunders, Randy Kirkham, Dustin Weatherford, Michael Weatherford, and Jeremy Russell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are James Harvey, David Harvey, Ben Briley, Chris Slayton, Lance Wright, and Robby Kirkham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to University of Kentucky Medical Center, Residency/Fellowship Support Fund, 1000 S. Limestone, Lexington, KY 40536.
