Gary L. Pickard, age 71 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Mr. Pickard was born May 25, 1951 in Dickson, TN to the late George Edward Pickard and Jean Patterson Pickard.
Mr. Pickard served our country in the United States Army. He worked for the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office for 43 years and retired from Bellsouth/AT&T after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Bethpage Masonic Lodge #521 F&AM.
He is survived by wife of 24 years, Pamela Templeton Pickard of Gallatin; sons, Aaron Pickard of Gallatin and Jeffrey Bond (Pamela) of Hendersonville; brothers, Tim Pickard (Rita) of McEwen, TN and William Pickard (Heather) of Portland; sister, Kim Morris of Castalian Springs; grandchildren, Vivian Pickard, Anderson Pickard, Garrett Pickard, and Jacob Bond; and step-grandchildren, Bailey Jenkins, Trinity Jenkins, and Hunter Jenkins.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14 from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, February 15th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Sumner Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethpage Masonic Lodge #521 F&AM, 602 Old Highway 31E, Bethpage, TN 37022.
