Gail Troutt, age 80 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023.
Mrs. Troutt was born September 3, 1942 in Macon County, TN to the late Tommy Gregory and Dovie Alice Thompson Gregory.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Gene Troutt; son, Freddy Troutt; daughter, Angie Pike; and sisters, Joann Grizzle, Linda Day, Bonnie Young, Rosita Fry, and Mary Alice Gregory.
She is survived by daughters, Ann Cato (Gill) of Nashville, Lisa Clifford of Gallatin, and Jennie Givens of Springfield; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 30th at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 30th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, with Roy Troutt, Kenneth Troutt, David Troutt, Tommy Troutt, Eugene Boner, Mike Foster, and Timothy Troutt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Givens and Stephen Cato.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
