Frances Woodward, age 90, of Westmoreland, TN, went home to be with the Lord, February 10, 2026. She was born June 24, 1935 to the late Noah Thompson and Leona Jenkins Thompson in Sumner County, TN.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Woodward; her brother, Guthrie Thompson; and her sister, Gladys Todd.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Wanda (Maxie) Graves and Kathy (Kenny) Creasy; her grandchildren, Shawne (Tonya) Creasy, Shane (Teresa) Creasy, Mitch (Jenny) Graves, Kendra (Brian) Gregory, Lori (Jeremy) Resmer, Kyla Creasy and Kristen (Andy) Leath; her twenty-one great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Marie Akin.
Mrs. Woodward was a member of the Westmoreland First Baptist Church. She was a devoted and wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. She enjoyed being with her family and loved them dearly.
Funeral services for Mrs. Woodward will be conducted on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1PM from the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. John Racioppa and Andy Leath officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, February 12th from 2PM till 9PM and again on Friday, February 13th from 8AM till service time at 1PM at Woodard Funeral Home.
