Frances Troutt Seavey, 88, of Gallatin, TN, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2023, at NHC Place Sumner in Gallatin, TN.
Mrs. Seavey was born on February 3, 1935, to the late Russell L. Troutt and Iva Rippy Troutt in the Providence community of Sumner County.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Seavey was preceded in death by her newborn daughters, Sanja Susanne Seavey (12/27/1957) and Regina Lynn Seavey (09/22/1965); her husband of 67 years, Harold Leroy Seavey; and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Allison.
Mrs. Seavey is survived by her sister, Betty Troutt Wright and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Seavey was valedictorian of the Westmoreland High School Class of 1953. She traveled the globe as a military wife for 20 years before settling down in Nashville where she worked for Wilson-Weesner-Wilkinson Company as secretary-treasurer until retirement.
Not long after retiring, Mrs. Seavey began working as an accountant for her great-niece at Children’s Dentistry in Goodlettsville from 2001-2015.
She and her husband moved from Nashville to Gallatin in 2018, and their East Nashville home was soon featured on Property Brothers in the “Sister, Sister” episode.
Funeral service for Mrs. Seavey will be on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral home with visitation on Thursday, March 23, from 10 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman.
