Ernest “Ernie” Eugene Warren, of Castalian Springs, passed away July 10, 2025 at age 82.

The Funeral Service conducted by Brother Jonathan Peace will be held Wednesday July 16, 2025 at 2 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Corum Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Ben Mosley, Andrew Mosley, Jacob Brooks, Robert Shrum, Braylen Warren, Glenn Wilson and Tyler Warren.

Ernie was born April 16, 1943 in Russellville, KY to Littie Margaret and Willie Warren. He worked as a Cook Supervisor for Byron’s BBQ for 30 years. He enjoyed singing and spending time with his family.

Ernie is survived by his wife Geraldine Andrews Warren, son Jason (Stacy Austin) Warren of Castalian Springs, daughters Wendy (Clyde) Grant of Leitchfield, KY and Angela (Robert) Shrum of Castalian Springs, brothers Robert Warren of Castalian Springs, Tommy (Debbie) Warren of Russellville, KY and Buck (Frances) Warren of Oak Grove, sisters Joyce (Frank) Joyce of Cross Plains and Maggie Powell of Russellville, KY, 10 grandchildren Ben (Ashley Stillwell) Mosley, Andrew (Narasha) Mosley, Jacob (Myranda Vance) Brooks, Emily (Glenn) Wilson, Thomas Shrum, Hailey (Hunter) Warren, Tyler Warren and Braylen (Katie) Warren, Easton Warren and Jules Warren and great grandchildren Adeline Mosley, Autumn Mosley, Landon Brooks, Levi Wilson, Meekabella Wilson, Arson Brooks, Jasper Brooks, Serenity Brooks, Greyson Templeton, Kensley Templeton and Waylon Templeton and favorite nieces Kimberly (George) Vaughn of Castalian Springs and Libby Manning of Portland, Oregon.

He is preceded in death by his parents Littie Margaret Warren and Willie Warren, brothers Wayne Warren and Joe Warren, and sisters Mary Warren, Barbara Warren, Martha McCormick, Ethel Forgy and Willie Mae McCormick.
