Ernest Franklin “Frank” Coley, age 72 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Mr. Coley was born September 23, 1951, in Prairie Grove, AR to the late Coy Reid Coley and Ruth Lawson Coley.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Pete Coley; sister, Linda Coley; and nephew, Coy Coley.
He is survived by wife of 24 years, Beverly White Coley of Gallatin; daughter, Jennifer Coley Shelton of Gallatin; son, Matthew Coley (Ashley) of Gallatin; stepdaughters, Jeannie Chaffin (Jason) of Portland and Amy Lee of Gallatin; brother, Steve Coley (Roberta Hancock) of Gallatin; sister, Brenda Johnson (Randy) of Gallatin; grandchildren, Hayleigh Shelton (Logan Griffith), Emmalynn Coley, Harper Coley, Kaitlyn Dickerson (C.J.), Gavin Bilyeu (Kaylie), Theron Lee, and Sam Lee; great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Dickerson and Eli Dickerson; sister-in-law, Cathryn Coley of Jasper, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be Wednesday, September 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Historic Gallatin Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Baskin and Bro. Gary Spike officiating. Honoring him as pallbearers are Jason Lee, Eric Coley, Jason Chaffin, Gavin Bilyeu, Nate Hardiman, and C. J. Dickerson. Honorary pallbearers are Dick McClure, Don Cox, Richard Graves, Mike Spalding, and Douglas Chapel Methodist Church. In addition, there will be a Celebration of Life Service to be announced at a later date at Douglass Chapel Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Douglass Chapel Methodist Church, 2141 Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066.
