Ernest Bryant Webster, 82, of White House peacefully passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving children and grandchildren. He was born August 24, 1943, in White House, TN. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 20 years. While in the Army, he had the opportunity to work for President Reagan and President Nixon. He served two tours in Vietnam, and also served in Korea and multiple other countries around the world.

His passions included eating hot pepper, drinking hot coffee and cooking delicious food to enjoy with family. He enjoyed the beach and deep sea fishing and nature. He’s always loved his puppy dogs, including his surviving Boston Terrier, Pearl. He was a storyteller. He treasured spending time with his family and most of all, his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mary Webster (and Bertha Bryant); 4 sisters – Geneva, Louise, Edith and Peggy; and 2 brothers – Richard and Earl. He is survived by his son Ernest Paul (Libby) Webster, of Murfreesboro, TN, and his daughter Tina Webster Adams, of White House, TN. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers Charles (Keiko) Webster and Jackie (Kay) Webster, both of Springfield, TN; his sisters, Mildred Jackson, of Madison, TN and Emily Jackson, of Springfield, TN; 7 grandchildren – Blake and Dalton Bryant, Elijah and Ethen Webster, Bryant Webster (Morgan-Blair Richardson) and Tanner and Coda Adams; and several great-grandchildren.

Service with full military honors will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, 11AM, in the Rotunda at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with Dalton Bryant (grandson) officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, 2026, 3PM-7PM at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House.
