Mrs. Era Mae Gregory, of Gallatin, Tennessee formerly of Westmoreland, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, she was 91 years old.

Mrs. Gregory was born October 10, 1930 in Macon County to the late Herschel Howell and Lucille Harrison Howell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Billy Joe Howell; sisters, Juanita Curtis and Velma Jenkins; and son-in-law, Jim Simons.

She is survived by children, Myra Simons of Gallatin, Marcelle Hagood (Tommy) of Florida, Marilyn Swafford (Hollis) of Mississippi, and Dale Gregory (Janice) of Gallatin; 6 grandchildren, Jeff Smith (Danielle), Trina Spivey, Christopher Hagood (Eryn), Jessica Kortum (Kyle), Hannah Tuck (Joshua), and Ryan Gregory; 9 great-grandchildren, Reid Smith, Ethan Smith, Catherine Smith, Sarah Gregory (Nik), Warren Hagood, Evelyn Tuck, Levi Tuck, Novalee Tuck, and one coming soon; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Marah Gregory.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Joe Porter officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2nd from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 3rd from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Siloam Cemetery, with Ryan Gregory, Reid Smith, Ethan Smith, Nikolaus Gregory, Joshua Tuck, and Kyle Kortum serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Smith, Christopher Hagood, Mike Curtis, Gary Jenkins, Dirk Howell, Keith Howell, Frank Sullivan, and Kenneth Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siloam Cemetery Fund c/o Anthony Blackwell, 411 Fox Run Lane, Lafayette, TN 37083.
