Emma Carol Brown, age 65, passed away on December 12, 2023.
Emma was born on September 5, 1958, in Jackson, Mississippi to Frank Braswell and Annette (Abernathy) Braswell.
Emma was fun-loving, funny, and a great friend to all. She loved taking road trips with Gatlinburg being a favorite trip. She worked over 30 years at several Waffle House locations. During her career, she met and became friends with many of her customers. She was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, and sister. Her sense of humor and love will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Annette; grandson Timothy O’Neal, and sister Brenda Ellzey.
She is survived by her daughters Kisha Kiesiner and Regina (Ricky) O’Neal; son Daniel Bourgeois; grandsons Dalton Kiesiner, Michael O’Neal, and Brian O’Neal; great-grandchildren Hazel, Brooks, Joshua, Jamison, and Amelia; brothers Buddy Braswell and Dwayne Abernathy; sister Nancy Pfeiffer; nieces Francesca Bass and Jennifer Johnson; best friend Kelli Jackson along with numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4 pm-8 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 5 pm in the Chapel at the funeral home with visitation from 4 pm-5 pm. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
