Elmer “Tuffy” Lee Adams, age 80, of Portland, passed away on December 14, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Adams was born on January 27th, 1941 to the late James Arthur Adams & late Hattie Katherine Adams.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Adams was preceded in death by wife, Peggy Jean Adams & brother, Billy Ray Adams.
Mr. Adams is survived by his children, Danny (Anna) Adams of Portland, David (Amanda) Adams of Goodlettsville, Tammy (Paul) Elrod of Sparta, & Chris (Sherry) Adams of Portland; grandchildren, Daniel (Sydney) Lewellen, Nikki Roberts, Cindy (David) Austin, & Denise Adams; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Wheeler of Portland; brother, Glenn Adams.
Funeral service for Mr. Adams will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at Wilkinson & Wiseman with Paul Elrod officiating.
Visitation for Mr. Adams will be on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home.
Interment in Old Brush Cemetery.
