Ella Mae Snoddy, age 94 of Gallatin, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Mrs. Snoddy was born January 6, 1930 in Sullivan County to the late William Francis Nelson and Matilda Simpson Nelson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, William Snoddy; daughter, Deborah Faye Bass; sisters, Nellie Nelson, Leona Bolden, Sarah Pendarvis, Rosie Gragg, and Ida Belle Morre; and brothers, Henry Nelson, Paul Nelson, Opie Nelson, B. F. Nelson, and Sherman Nelson.
She is survived by daughter, Pamela Owen (Richard) of Gallatin; grandchildren, Jay Owen (Claire), John Owen (Julie), Katie Sneed (David), Kari Keil (Robert), and Kristin Owen; and great-grandchildren, Jack Owen, Hayden Owen, Oliver Owen, Lincoln Owen, Eva Owen, Eden Owen, Harper Sneed, and Elliot Keil.
Mrs. Snoddy loved all kinds of gardening.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin, with Bro. James Bell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens.
