Mr. Earnest Lee Phillips of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, he was 88 years old.
He was born in Gallatin on February 5, 1934 to the late, Henry Marvin Phillips and Dora Bell Bandy.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Una Lee Phillips; and many brothers and sisters.
Earnest spend most of his younger days working on lawnmowers and cars. He always had hound dogs to go rabbit and squirrel hunting. He also loved his grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed listening to country music.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana Robbins; three grandchildren, Christina Phillips Davis (Robert), Ellen Wylie (Murray), Stephanie Joyner (Kyle); four great-grandchildren, Aidan Wylie, Olivia Wylie, Eric Joyner, Jacob Joyner; and his siblings, Russell Phillips and Viola McGee.
