Duncan Edward Jones, 94 of Portland, Tn, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Westmoreland Healthcare. Mr. Jones was born July 28, 1931 to the late Duncan Edward Jones and Clara Lee Hall Jones in Robertson County.
Along with his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his sons, Johnny Jones, Bobby Jones and Eddie Jones; wife, Betty Wilson Jones; and sister, Gladys Goosetree.
Mr. Jones is survived by step sons, Phil (Sheri) Wilson, Bob (Penny) Wilson, John (Melanie) Wilson; nephews, Mike (Beverly) Kitchens, and Randy Kitchens; niece, Julie Kitchens; great nephews, Sean Kitchens and Robert Kitchens along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mr. Jones will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home with Phil Wilson officiating, visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. funeral time.
Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Kitchens, Robert Kitchens, Derek Gregory, Braiden Gregory, Nathaniel Gregory and Tyler Gregory.
Following the funeral service interment will be in Halltown Cemetery.
