Dora Anne Strode, age 87 of Castalian Springs, passed away July 25, 2025.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday August 1, 2025 from 5-7 p.m.
Dora was born in Albany, NY on February 18, 1938.
She was a record coordinator for Vol State Community College for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her children Kathleen Harbour of Gallatin, Michael Maxwell-Lance of New York, Christopher Kane of Castalian Springs and Susan Phillips of Gallatin, sister Jean Bayly, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Strode, brother Richard Banten, sisters Marion Bestle, Margaret “Peggy” Banten and Patricia Mitola, son-in-law Brian Harbour and parents Margaret and Harold Banten.
