Donald Curtis, age 98, of Portland, passed away on January 26, 2025.
He was a farmer all his life, served as past Presidents of Sumner County Farm Bureau, and Sumner County Fair Association. He was a deacon for the Portland Church of Christ for over 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bea Deasy Curtis, parents, Martin and Earline Curtis Sr, brothers, Martin Jr, John, and Allen Curtis, and sisters, Milton Starnes, Emmaline Reese, Ann Saunders and Katherine Rice.
Survived by sons, Mac (Alexis), Milton, Robert (Priscilla) Curtis. Grandchildren, Brian (Liz) Curtis, Leigh (Matt) Taylor, Matt (Brynn) Curtis, Austin (Marybeth) Curtis, Aaron (Aly) Curtis, and Wade (Mariel) Curtis. Great grandchildren, Bethany, Blake, Ellie, Hagan, Jax, Henry, Laurel, Gavin, Tucker Curtis, and Taylor Pearson. Survived by sister Earline (Donald) Dixon.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 10:00 am till 12:00, with Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Doyle Farris and Bud Woodall officiating. Interment is at Old Brush Cemetery.
