Diann Kay Palmquist, age 77 of Portland, TN went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 27, 2026 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was born August 18, 1948 in Titusville, PA to William & Mary Ann Kitelinger Kolacek. She worked in various clerical positions over the years before becoming disabled. She enjoyed fishing camping, especially helping her husband on Boy Scout campouts. She attended Orlinda First Baptist Church when she was able. Diann is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver of 56 years, Ernie Palmquist, Portland, TN; sons, Steven Palmquist, Portland, TN and Dmitro Palmquist, Franklin, KY; brother, Karl (Debbie) Kolacek; sister, Linda Shaffer, both of PA; 2 grandchildren, Dmitro Palmquist, Jr. and Catherine Palmquist.
