OBITUARY: Dennis Dale Swindle

Mr. Dennis Dale Swindle, age 75, of Lafayette, passed away, Friday, January 9, 2026, at his residence. Funeral services for Dennis Swindle are scheduled to be conducted on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1 PM, from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Dean Dyer and Brother Tony Day officiating. Interment will follow in The Scott Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 1 PM until 9 PM, and on Monday, from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM.

Family requests donations be made to The Scott Cemetery or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Grethel C. Swindle and Mary Louise Dyer Swindle; Sister, Donna Jane Carter; Brother, Leslie Randall Swindle; Infant brother, Barry Allen Swindle; Infant Grandson, Seth Alan Harrison; and Life-long best friend, Billy Merritt.
