Deborah Ann Gaskill, age 67 of Hendersonville, passed away December 8, 2024.
Debbie was born in Nashville, TN on November 12, 1957 to the late John Lewis and Eva Louise Whitson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Martha Judkins and Johnann O’Kelly.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Thomas Gaskill; sons, Michael Robert Gaskill and Andrew Lewis Gaskill (Elizabeth); brothers, Jack Whitson and James Whitson; and sisters, Mary Klugh and Louise Goodwin.
Debbie was born and raised in Nashville. She attended Glencliff High School and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of Tennessee. She was a registered nurse in the Greater Nashville Area for close to 20 years.
Debbie was a very strong Christian and love reading scripture and biblical study books. She loved Christian music. Debbie and Mike supported each other for 44 plus years. It was a blessed marriage each and every day of her life. She guided and raised two fine sons which she loved dearly and always proud of their accomplishments in life. She always enjoyed talking to all of her dear family members and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside with Rev. John Penfield officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
