Mr. Dayton Reese “Jack” Bradley, age 87, of Bethpage, TN went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Jack was born August 18, 1936 in Sumner County, Tennessee to the late Thomas Marvin and Irene Joslin Bradley.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, baby Francis, Anne Sheppard, Mae Belle Taylor, Marvirene Keisling, Bessie Lou Kirk, and Mary Lampkin; brother, Thomas Bradley.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Ann Perdue Bradley; children, Tanya (Paul) Dean, Keena (Pam) Bradley, Chanda (Jeff) Gregory, Shay (Anita) Bradley; grandchildren, Megan (David) White, Suzanne (Cason) Anderson, Hunter Bradley, Derrick (Lindsey) Stamps, Bradley (Allie) Gregory, Brycen (Anna) Gregory, Alana Bradley; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Anderson, Marshall White, Archer White, Ella Jane Stamps, Dayton Jax Gregory, Clara Jane Gregory, and Elijah Stamps.

Jack was a member of Providence General Baptist Church. He retired after 42 years of service from Braid Electric Company in Nashville, TN as their top industrial salesman. He reorganized the Sumner County Crime Stoppers, was on the board of the Oak Grove Fire Department, and organized the North Sumner Concerned Citizens.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18th at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Bro. Jody Brown and Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Interment will follow the service at Maple Hill Cemetery with Hunter Bradley, Derrick Stamps, Bradley Gregory, Brycen Gregory, David White, and Loren Perdue serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wendall Tuttle, Jerry Rippy, and Dean Perdue. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 17th from 11:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, January 18th from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project or Shriners Children’s Hospital in Mr. Bradley’s memory.
