David “Dave” Williams, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Mr. Williams was born May 23, 1950 in Nashville to the late Marvin Neil Williams and Geralda Lorene Dean Williams.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Edward Laudermilk, James Hibbs, and William Hibbs.
He is survived by wife of 41 years, Sylvia Bales Williams of Gallatin; grandchildren, Jennifer Perkins (Joshua) and Necole Huey Elizer (Timothy); and great-grandchildren, Reagan Perry, Sabrina Burke, and Amelia Perry.
Mr. Williams retired as general manager at Sumner Gun and Supply after many years of service. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Atlanta Braves Baseball, hunting and fishing. He was a gun enthusiast.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date to be announced, at Nashville Road Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
