Ms. Daphne Hodges Mann, age 87 of Gallatin, Tennessee went to her Heavenly home on August 3, 2026. Daphne was born on August 2, 1939 in Oak Grove, Tennessee to the late Henry Guthrie and Irene Kirkham Hodges.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ray Hodges and Leroy Hodges; sisters, Eunice Price and Wilma Durham.
She is survived by her son, Brent (Kim) Mann; grandchildren, Savannah (Travis) Rains, Blake Groves and Bailey (Caden) Lackey; great-grandchildren, Addison Rush and Parker Rains; brother, David (Pat) Hodges; numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Daphne found true joy in spending time with her family. When she wasn’t with her family, she loved to crochet and do crossword puzzles. She loved attending church at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church when she was able to go and was proud to be a member there for 75 years.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 8th at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Robby Kirkham officiating. Dave Walker, Travis Rains, Brian Roberts, Blake Groves, Caden Lackey, James Johnson and Ethan Creasy will be serving as pallbearers. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Friday, August 7th from 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday, August 8th from 12:00 PM until 2:30 PM.
