Daniel Patrick Roland, 31 years old of Hendersonville, TN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Danny was born on July 18, 1990 in Yonkers, NY to Walter and Colleen Roland.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, James Riley, who was his pride and joy. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Melissa (Israel) and John (Amanda); his nieces, Adrianna and Natalia Serrano, Erin and Shannon Roland; his paternal grandmother Ruth Roland; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Danny graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in 2008 before following in his dad’s footsteps and proudly serving in the United States Navy.
Though he called Nashville home, Danny took immense pride in his New York roots. His passion for the NY Rangers and NY Yankees never wavered despite moving to the south. Danny was known to regularly sport his Rangers pride while working for the Nashville Predators.
Danny will be remembered most for his kind and sensitive heart. He loved connecting with animals and held soft spots for all of the dogs in his short life: Holly, Lincoln, Roscoe, and Sully.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 11 am at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 16 from 2 pm until 7 pm, and again on Monday, January 17 from 10 am until service time.
