Cynthia “Cindy” Shimak, age 63, of Gallatin, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Memorial Services for Cynthia will be conducted on, Friday, November 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin with Reverend James Johnson officiating. She will be privately interred in Gallatin, TN. Visitation will also be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until service time.
Cynthia Mary Shimak was born on April 6, 1958, one of four children born to the late Charles Frank Shimak, Jr. and Maxine (Pickler) Kirkpatrick, who survives and lives in Castalian Springs, TN. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a niece, Christie Rose Shimak.
Cynthia had worked most of her life in food services as a server. She had completed two years of college at Montclair State University.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by, father, Robert Kirkpatrick, Castalian Springs, brothers, Charles Frank “Casey” Shimak, III, Castalian Springs, Joseph Owen (Melanie) Shimak of New Jersey, sister, Victoria Jack Hagen, Gallatin, nephews, Roy Arthur Hagen, Gallatin, Joseph J. Shimak and Michael Shimak, both of New Jersey, niece, Karie Hagen Thornton of KY, step-brother, Rick Kirkpatrick, step-sister, Robyn Kirkpatrick, both of FL, and several aunts and uncles.
