Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Joe lived a long life and that his love will remain with us always.

The Melson family will honor Joe’s wishes by not holding a memorial service. However, Joe asked that the following message be shared.

“Dad loves you all. Don’t cry for me. Remember me when I was alive.”

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family invites those who wish to honor his memory to make a voluntary donation at donate.jw.org.
