Chyrel Diane Graves, 76, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
Born on August 4, 1949, in Portland, Tennessee. Diane was the daughter of the late Jack Junior Fulton and Cassie Louise (Hinton) Fulton.
Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She spent many years working at Albany International, which she had a never-ending smile and positivity and worked so hard to provide for her cherished children as they were growing up.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Carl Graves; and her grandson, Connor Hunley, brother, Mike Fulton, and nephew, Brandon Butler, whose memory she carried close to her heart.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rhonda (Ron) Pryor of Portland, Tennessee, Johnny Akins of Bethpage, Tennessee, and Chad Graves; her grandson, Rylan Graves; sister, Sherry (Kevin) Butler; sister-in-law, Ann Fulton; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Diane’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved. She especially enjoyed going yard sale shopping with her daughter and sister, where the time spent together meant more than the treasures they found. Diane will be remembered for her kind heart, friendly personality, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends. Her memory will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her.
In accordance with her wishes, Diane will be cremated.
The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Diane will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at a later day and time.
