Chistopher Darrell Brogdon, age 49 of Hendersonville, Tennessee unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 10, 1976.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Brogdon; brothers, Bobby Brogdon and Robby S. Brogdon; sisters, Rebecca Botts and Samantha Farmer.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Cynthia Brogdon; daughters, Abigail (Connor) Brogdon Bowers, Alyssa (Ryan) Montgomery, Sara Brogdon and Kelsee Williams; son in love, Justin Brogdon; wife, Heidi Brogdon; grandchildren, Poppy Montgomery, Paislee Young and Waylon Young; sisters; Lisa K. Jackson and Crystal (Jonny) Brown; sister-in-law, Lenora Brogdon; life-long friends, Augustine Chavez, A.T. Harris and Chris Hoback; grand-dogs, Mallory, Zuko, Winnie, Red, Lilly and Lottie; fur babies, Dezi and Stella; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
With the unexpected nature of his passing, his family has decided to have the opportunity for friend and family to visit him to pay their respects.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22nd from 11:00-3:00 PM and Monday, February 23rd from 11:00-3:00 PM at Sellars Funeral Home at Hendersonville.
Following the visitation on Sunday, there will be a Celebration of Chris’s life with food and beverages hosted by the immediate family at his place of residence located at 1094b Center Point Road in Hendersonville. This will be a time to share stories, memories, and honor his life. He was a beloved father, pop pops, son, brother, uncle, cousin, partner, and life-long friend to many. Chris loved his family, the Dallas Cowboys, and being the life of the party.
