Mrs. Cheryl Darlene Reeves, age 79 of Franklin, Kentucky passed away Friday, July 3rd, 2026 at her residence. She was born on October 14th, 1946 to the late Edwin McElyea and Catherine Kephart in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandmother, Lila Mae Hardin; brother, Michael McElyea; and sister, Cindy McElyea.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Eddie Reeves; children, Chritopher Michael Reeves (Leanne), Candy Holland, and Blake Dewayne Reeves (Renee); grandchildren, Gabby LeVan (Tyler), Gavin Reeves, Amber Holland (Truman), Abrianna Holland-Haley, Autumn Holland, Alysia Jordan Holland-Haley, Austin Reeves, Destiny Reeves, Brandon Reeves, Catherine Reeves, and Tristan Reeves; great grandchildren, Weston LeVan, Teagan LeVan, Kaytlin-Sue Williams, Hannah-Leigh Hill, Lily-Mae Harmount and Emma Reeves; sisters, Debbie Gregory, Sheila Kelley, Kim Rowland (John) and Denise Kline (Rob); and brothers, Jeff McElyea (Christy) and Brian McElyea (Jill).
The family has chosen cremation. There are no services to be announced at this time.
