Cheryl Ada Evans, age 60, of Gallatin, TN, passed away Saturday, (June 27, 2026) at Sumner Regional Hospital in Gallatin.
She was born on October 03, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late William “Bill” Jr. and Margaret Williams Evans.
She worked in food service and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, staying in contact with close friends, playing games on her phone and she loved her food, especially Starbucks Coffee, KFC and snack cakes. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Patterson (Joyce) of Gallatin, TN; three grandchildren, Rylee Rae Green, Lydia Patterson and Kenneth Patterson Jr.; one brother, Don Evans of Hendersonville, TN; and two sisters, Mary Petrozzi (Peter) of Rhode Island & Karen Foreman (Raymond) of Dixon, TN. Several nieces, nephews, a close friend, Charlene Belanger, and her beloved dog Molly also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Patterson and her fur-baby, Warren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 07, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Gibson Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
