Charlotte Rena Trisdale Odom was born on September 13, 1975, in Gallatin, TN, and passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2024, in the same city where she first graced the world with her presence.
Charlotte is survived by her parents Phillip and Betty Trisdale, and her loving husband of 16 years Geoff Odom. She is also survived by her children Peyton (Jason) Eldridge, Tyler Hensley, Kaitlin Hensley, Annakarlin Odom, Hayden Odom, and her stepchildren Abby (Billy) Weaver and Alexander Odom. Charlotte leaves behind her sister Angela (Chris) Stout, half-brother Gary Trisdale, and her nieces and nephews McKenzie (Matthew) Hamilton, Whitney Searcy and Christopher Searcy. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Olivia. Charlotte is welcomed into heaven by her son Hunter.
She was a graduate of Gallatin High School Class of 1993. Charlotte was known for her kind and welcoming nature. She had a knack for making everyone feel at ease in her presence, her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest days, radiating joy and positivity wherever she went.
Charlotte found solace in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. Indulging in “Law and Order” marathons with her dog, Olivia Benson. Enjoying the vibrant hues of sunflowers and the color green. She enjoyed cooking and baking; they were not just tasks but acts of love that she shared generously with those around her. She had a weakness for sweets, her family remembers a time where she would make pineapple upside down cake often.
Traveling was another one of her loves. Trips to Florida became treasured moments filled with laughter and joy for Charlotte and those closest to her. Okaloosa Island will forever hold a special place in their hearts as a symbol of shared happiness under the sun.
To honor Charlotte’s life and to offer our final goodbyes visitation services will be held at Crestview Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Gallatin, on May 15th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM as well as on May 16th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on May 16th at 2:00 PM followed by interment at Crestview Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM. https://www.crestviewfh.com
