Charles Elliott Hunter, age 94, of Portland, passed away on August 19th, 2024 at The Waters of Gallatin.
Mr. Hunter was born in Fountain Head, TN on June 7th, 1930 to the late Charles Guthrie Hunter & the late Victoria Beatrice DeWeese Hunter.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hunter; sister, Ruth Ann Coffer; daughter, Marlene Dean; grandson, Jeff Hunter.
Mr. Hunter is survived by his sons, Gary (Judy) Hunter of Gallatin & Timmy (Karen) Hunter of Portland; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; & one great-great-grandson.
There will be a graveside service along with Military Honors for Mr. Hunter at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at Crestview Memory Gardens in Gallatin, TN with Pastor Ricky Morris officiating. https://www.wilkinsonwiseman.com
