Charlcie J. Boyd, age 90, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
Charlcie was born on January 12, 1933, in Austin, Texas to William T. Bryan and Elizabeth Ann (Baker) Bryan.
Charlcie loved gardening, sewing, baking bread, exercise class and reading. Most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an active member of Redeemer Church and Bellshire United Methodist Church Rebekah Circle Group. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Charlcie is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband James C. Boyd; and her son James B. Boyd.
She is survived by her son Terry J. Boyd, daughter Candye (Dugan) Purtle; grandchildren James C. (Emilie) Dugan, Kellye E. (Jon,) Mayhew, Erin S. (Matt) Goodall, Abby D. (Brian) Prescott, and Seth P. Dugan; great-grandchildren Gracie, Caroline, Maddie, Amelia, Anna Kate, Stella, Henry, Ali, Audrie and Ava.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 1 pm-2 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm in the Chapel at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will be private. https://www.hendersonvillefh.com
