Carolyn Sue Smith, age 78, of Bethpage, Tennessee, passed away on December 26, 2025.
The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. with Bro. Jake Sullivan officiating.
The family will be receiving friends and family on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 12-7 p.m. and Wednesday, December 31, from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra Dee and Maggie Lou Stewart; Husband, Fred C. Smith Jr.; Brothers, HG (Herman) Stewart (Marie), Willard Dee Stewart (Claudine), Tommy Stewart, Joe Stewart, and Bobby Stewart; Sisters, Mary Kathern Reily (Charles) and Shirley Frye.
She is survived by her children; Cindy Lou Hardin (Paul), Christopher Camual Smith (April), Kellye Dawn White (Gary), Michael Timothy Tanner; Grandchildren, Christian (Chad) Askew, Courtney Ethridge (Jake), Charles Hardin, Mykayla Tanner, Lathan Reed, Micah Tanner, Makelle Lewis, Marti Bree Lewis, Elijah Tanner, and Mason Tanner; Very special and loved great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; Sister-In-Laws, Thelma Stewart, Dottie Stewart, and Beverly Stewart; Daughter-In-Law, Deanna Smith; Special nephew she raised as her own son, Jason Frye (Angie); She is also survived by many friends and her church family.
Carolyn was a long-time member of Old Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and leaves behind a testimony of being saved by God’s grace.
