Carolyn Lucille Barnes, Sunrise May 2, 1939, Sunset January 9, 2026, to the late Charles Barnes and Annie M. Bonds Barnes in Portland, Tn, passed away peacefully at Signature Healthcare.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
Carolyn was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church until her health failed her.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Dale Barnes; daughter in law, Rhonda Barnes, granddaughter, Serenity Barnes; grandsons, Isaiah Barnes, Je’Ountrae(Alexie)Garrett, Jon’Tavion Garrett; two great grandchildren, Jakari and Aaliyah Garrett.
Funeral service for Mrs. Barnes will be on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home, with visitation with the family from 12-1 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
Following the funeral, internment will be in Portland Memorials Gardens.
