Candy Marlene Keenum Patton

Born: June 2, 1951 in New Albany, MS and raised in Memphis, TN

Died: September 28, 2024 in Hendersonville, TN, peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Preceded in death by: her parents, Gene Keenum and Fay Smithey.

Survived by: her adoring husband Bill Patton, daughter Brandy Zimmerle (husband Jody) and grandsons Zachary and Keaton, daughter Amanda Reed (husband Ray) and granddaughter Merrill, and stepson Ray Patton (wife Claire) and grandson John and granddaughter Anna, her cherished cousins, aunts and other family members that served as her siblings throughout her life, as well as numerous friends and loved ones.

All of her grandchildren will fondly remember their Mimi – and her family and friends will never forget her laugh, spirit, and ability to be the life of any party. She was a dedicated daughter, an amazing mother, a loving wife and friend and will forever be missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to honor Candy with donations to Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee.
