Bonnie Carter, age 81 of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Mrs. Carter was born July 11, 1941 in Glasgow, KY to the late David Smith and Frances Williams Smith.
Bonnie worked many years in real estate and was known throughout the community.
She is survived by husband of 52 years, Billy W. Carter of Cottontown; sons, Marc Carter of White House and Phillip Carter (Ashley) of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Buffy Carter of Cottontown; brother, Charles David Smith (Carole) of Glasgow, KY; and 6 grandchildren, McKale Carter, McClaine Carter, Caroline Carter, Smith Carter, Amelia Carter, and Presley Carter.
Funeral Service will be Friday, April 28th at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 205 East Main Street, Gallatin, TN 37066, with Rev. John Penfield officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 28th from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place on May 4th at 1:00 p.m. at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, P.O. Box 369, Gallatin, TN 37066.
