Mrs. Bonnie Alexander Cornell, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, she was 99 years old.
Mrs. Cornell was born September 13, 1922 in Pleasant Shade, TN to the late Charles Alexander and Martha Susan Beasley Alexander.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Johnny Cornell; brother, Rufus Alexander; and sisters, Pauline Armor and Maurice Reed.
She is survived by daughters, Lucretia Baskin of Gallatin and Patsy Kirst of Gallatin; step-daughters, Jana Alverides (Greg) of Murfreesboro and Jennifer Fowler (Art) of Jackson, TN; 6 grandchildren, Shane Stokes (Sandy), Charlotte Balturshot (Billy), Amanda Baskin, Brian Stamps, Chelsea Liddle (Justin), and Nick Alverides (Katherine); and 8 great-grandchildren, Nathan Stokes, Jared Stokes, Bella Balturshot, Brynn Balturshot, Will Balturshot, Tristan Liddle, Alex Alverides, and Sofia Alverides.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 3rd at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
